Daughter of Veil is a haunting mystery 2D action-platformer where a rebellious teen braves a crumbling island poisoned by a mind-warping drug. Uncover the mystery behind your missing parents, fight through the infected, explore forgotten ruins, and discover secrets that were never meant to surface.

What even is this?

This is a short playtest for the overall feel of the game, not the final product. It won't represent that at all. Please give all feedback to @superpasto on Discord, or @anchorgamesmx on Instagram.

FAQ:

• Will it be possible to aim with mouse instead of the movement keys?
  • Yes! We are implementing it, but it's not ready for this build.

• Hey, if you press "down" on a D-Pad or S on a Keyboard, or move your joystick down while walking, you'll be slower!!
  • It's a glitch. We're looking into it.
• Hey, if you are too close to a wall or box, and you shoot, you will shoot inside the object!!
  • It's a glitch too. We're looking into it (too).
    
• Hey, the parallax backgrounds are kinda shaky!!
  • Again, it's a glitch, and again, we're looking into it (too).
    
• The boomerang is broken!
  • Yes, it is. It's still very WIP
